Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders News Release
(MOOSIC, PA) - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders topped the Rochester Red Wings 6-5 on Thursday night. The team battled for their third straight win behind eleven hits and Andres Chaparro's 20th long ball of the season.

Back-to-back singles from Jamie Westbrook and Brandon Lockridge loaded the bases. Wilmer Difo put a ball in play and drove in a run, reaching on an error. Oswald Peraza followed with a two RBI base hit for a 3-0 advantage.
In the next frame Chaparro led off with a home run. Carlos Narvaez followed with a walk of his own and Cordero singled to get aboard. Westbrook drew a walk to load the bases yet again. Lockridge grounded into a double play but it brought in another to lead 5-0.
