Canadian Rookie Dobie Joins Goldeyes

November 21, 2025 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced Friday the signing of rookie utility man, Mason Dobie. Hailing from Meaford, Ontario, Dobie is the first Canadian player to sign with the Goldeyes for the 2026 season. The 23-year-old will make his professional debut this spring after spending the past four seasons with the University of Dayton (Dayton, Ohio). Suárez Added to Goldeyes' Bullpen

November 19, 2025 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced Wednesday the signing of right-handed relief pitcher Willian Suárez. Suárez, a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, last pitched for the Tri-City Dust Devils, the High-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. The 26-year-old spent four seasons from 2016 to 2019 in the Dominican Summer League with the DSL Giants, a rookie affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. November 18, 2025 - SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Sioux City Explorers have announced that the team has signed left-handed pitcher and former Iowa Hawkeye Ben DeTaeye and slugging catcher Dillon Tatum to contracts for the 2026 season. The pair are the fifth and sixth roster additions of the offseason for the Explorers and Manager Steve Montgomery. Saltdogs Announce First Signees for 2026

November 13, 2025 - LINCOLN, NE - The Lincoln Saltdogs have announced their first signees for the 2026 season. Trey Jones will join the Saltdogs in 2026. A 6-0, 160-pound right-handed pitcher, Jones went 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA for the Boise Hawks, last season. Appearing in 14 games, with two starts, Jones also tallied two saves.
