August 6, 2025 - VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Wednesday the addition of one of the sport's most decorated players of all-time in legendary German attacking midfielder Thomas Müller. The FC Bayern Munich great has signed for the remainder of the 2025 season and the agreement includes a Designated Player option for 2026. July 27, 2025 - VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC put on another clinic on Saturday, as they swept past Sporting Kansas City 3-0 to stay within touching distance of first in the Western Conference.
Whitecaps FC started the match with plenty of energy, with Jayden Nelson getting involved early on with some dangerous runs and crosses.
J.C. Ngando nearly opened the scoring in the seventh minute after Nelson cut it back for the Frenchman, but his drilled shot skewed juts wide.

July 22, 2025 - VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Tuesday that centre back Ranko Veselinović suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in his left knee during the first half of last Saturday's match at San Diego FC. The club's medical team, along with Veselinović, will determine next steps in the coming days.

July 22, 2025 - VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Tuesday that the club has acquired Japanese-born, Peruvian youth international Kenji Cabrera via transfer from Peruvian Liga 1 side FBC Melgar. Cabrera has agreed to a U22 Initiative contract through 2028, with a club option for 2029. The 22-year-old midfielder, who can also play as a winger, will officially join the club's Major League Soccer roster pending receipt of his international transfer certificate, visa, work permit, and medical.
