Steel Open 2026-2027 Season in Chicago with USHL Fall Classic

September 16, 2026 - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel will begin the 2026-2027 season at the USHL Fall Classic, being held for the first time at Blackhawks Ice Center presented by Fifth Third Bank in Chicago, IL, on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19. Chicago will square off against two Western Conference opponents at their home venue, USG Arena, starting with the Lincoln Stars on Friday, Sept. 18, at 7:00 pm CT. Chicago Falls to Dubuque in Preseason Opener

September 4, 2026 - The Chicago Steel fell to the Dubuque Fighting Saints 4-1 at ImOn Arena Thursday night in their first preseason game... With a delayed penalty, Dubuque opened the scoring on a sharp-angle goal halfway through the opening period and added another six minutes later, gaining a lead it didn't give up ...
