April 4, 2026 - LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars (28-29-4-1) fell in the final game of the regular season to the Omaha Lancers on Saturday night.
Lincoln had the better of the chances through the first 20 minutes, but a questionable tripping call on Samuel Murin led to a power-play for the Lancers, and they were able to capitalize, taking the lead as the Stars surrendered their third power-play goal on the weekend. April 3, 2026 - LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars (28-28-4-1) fell at home to the Des Moines Buccaneers 4-2 on Friday night.
Lincoln thought they drew first blood, but after review it was revealed that KJ Sauer hit the post on the power-play, and the game would remain 0-0. The Buccaneers would strike twice in the final five minutes of the period on the power-play to take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission.

Lincoln would score first for the first time all weekend. Samuel Murin entered the offensive zone and fired a shot on net. The rebound came loose to Brady Kudrna, and he was able to beat the Omaha netminder to give Lincoln the lead. Omaha would respond quickly with two goals in 122 seconds to take the lead.
