Lincoln Stars' Record-Breaking Season Now Part of Nebraska History

June 5, 2025 - LINCOLN, NE -- The Lincoln Stars were honored at the Nebraska State Capitol Wednesday afternoon for their record-breaking 2024-25 season. Legislative Resolution 184 was passed on May 21 and presented to the Lincoln Stars on June 4. Head coach Rocky Russo and Vice President of Marketing and Revenue Suzanne Petersen were on hand to receive the honor. 2024-25 Stars' Season Ends in Conference Finals

May 1, 2025 - The Lincoln Stars' 2024-25 season came to an end with a 3-0 loss to the Waterloo Black Hawks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday night at Young Arena. Lincoln fell to Waterloo, three-games-to-one in the best-of-five Western Conference Finals. Kaeden Hawkins continued his torrid postseason by scoring for a sixth straight game and for the eighth time in the Clark Cup Playoffs with his league-leading fourth power-play goal at the 16:19 mark. Russo Named USHL Coach of the Year, Fabrizio Named USHL GM of the Year

May 1, 2025 - Lincoln Stars head coach Rocky Russo and general manager Nick Fabrizio have been honored with the USHL's 2024-25 award for both of their positions, as announced by the league Thursday. Russo is in his fourth season with the Stars and has overseen a team that has gone 143-86-12-7 and won four playoff series. This campaign represents the second time in the last three seasons that the Stars have advanced to the Western Conference Finals. Game 3 Goes to Waterloo

April 30, 2025 - The Lincoln Stars suffered their first shutout loss of the season, falling to the Waterloo Black Hawks, 5-0, in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night at Young Arena. Lincoln outshot Waterloo, 29-25, but could not overcome a four-goal Black Hawks second period. Teddy Townsend scored Waterloo's first three goals and Carter Casey recorded his first USHL shutout.
