October 17, 2026 - Lincoln, NE - The Lincoln Stars (3-4-1-0) fell in overtime to the Sioux City Musketeers by the score of 4-3 at the Ice Box on Saturday night.
Sioux City opened the scoring at 8:15 of the first period when Dakotah Bailey scored shorthanded. Lincoln responded with a pair of goals to take the lead. Sioux Falls would strike early and often in the first period, recording two goals in the opening five minutes, taking a two-goal lead with the goals separated by 31 seconds. Later in the frame, the Stampede would add a power-play tally, taking a 3-0 lead into the first intermission.
