May 18, 2024 - Left-hander Augie Sylk was brilliant for seven innings, and the Lancaster offense pounded out a season-high 18 hits as the Stormers crushed the York Revolution, 13-2, Saturday evening at Clipper Magazine Stadium. It was Lancaster's first win in five tries in the 2024 War of the Roses. Sylk (1-1) worked seven innings, allowing only three hits and one run to a Revs team that had beaten him in the suspended game completed on Friday. Jamari Baylor Has Contract Purchased by Toronto Blue Jays
May 18, 2024 - (York, Pa.): York Revolution officials announced today that infielder Jamari Baylor had his contract purchased by the Toronto Blue Jays. The team assignment for Baylor is yet to be determined. Originally a third-round pick of the Philadelphia Phillies in 2019, Baylor was traded to the Colorado Rockies in early 2023. The Richmond, VA native hit the ground running upon the trade, hitting .333 with seven home runs in Low-A Fresno. May 17, 2024 - (Lancaster, Pa.): After last Thursday's game was suspended in the fourth inning, the York Revolution and Lancaster Stormers resumed on Friday afternoon as the Revs capped off an 8-1 win to complete a sweep. Shortly after, the two faced off in a seven-inning affair with York pulling off a late comeback for a 6-3 win to open the current weekend series. May 17, 2024 - HIGH POINT, N.C - Martin Figueroa singled home Ryan Grotjohn in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the High Point Rockers a 4-3 walk-off win over the Charleston Dirty Birds on Friday night at Truist Point. Figueroa's single culminated a game-long effort in which the Rockers continually fought from behind all night before finally knotting the game in the eighth inning.
