Saturday, February 26th - SpongeBob Squarepants joins the Bakersfield Condors as they host the San Diego Gulls, sponsored by Bright House Networks, Real Rock 93.1, & Subway. SpongeBob Squarepants will be sharing his nautical nonsense for all the fans at Rabobank Arena. The evening is also a Bright House Networks Family Night. All subscribers receive $5.00 admission per person by presenting the coupon available in their cable bill. Saturday is also Subway Discount Night, fans can receive 2-for-1 terrace admission with a coupon from any Bakersfield Subway location. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the puck drops at 7:00 p.m.

The Bakersfield Condors have teamed up with the Kern County Shrine Club & KUZZ 107.9 for this year's Tip-a-Condor to benefit the Shriners Childrens' Hospital. The annual event will be held on Monday, March 21st at the Crystal Palace from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with dinner being served from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The charity dinner features Condors players and coaches posing as waiters for an evening, serving food and drinks to patrons. Tickets to the event are $25.00, $12.00 for children under 10, with a dinner including tri-tip, chicken, rice, salad, potato and rolls. There will be a live auction as well after the dinner, featuring team-signed jerseys from the Manchester Monarchs, Motor City Mechanics, and the 2003-2004 Kelly Cup Champion Idaho Steelheads, as well a replica Charlestown Chiefs jersey from the movie Slapshot, autographed by Yvon Barrett who played goaltender Dennis Lemieux. The Crystal Palace is located at 3223 Sillect Avenue. Tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased at the Bakersfield Sports Entertainment office, which is open from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. They can also be purchased at the Kern County Shrine Club's table on the concourse behind section 107 during all home games.
The Condors announce a Charity Hockey Game to benefit The Link to Life Breast Cancer Research Center. Be a part of Bakersfield's first ever all night hockey game. The fun begins Friday, March 25th following the Condors home game against the Gwinnett Gladiators and last 27 hours thru Saturday, March 26th. Adult hockey players of all skill levels are invited to take part in this great fundraising and historic event. There will be an informational meeting as well as an opportunity for sign ups, Thursday, February 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the Potato Room located at the Rabobank Arena's Convention Center. Season tickets, mini-plans and group outings can still be reserved by contacting the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825). Individual game tickets are now on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena box office, which opens at 10:00am Monday through Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster location.
