June 30, 2026 - FLINT - The Flint Firebirds made two selections during Tuesday's CHL Import Draft. Flint used the 28th overall pick on Latvian forward Martins Klaucans and then selected Slovakian forward Tomas Selic with the 43rd pick. The Firebirds acquired the 28th overall pick from the Kingston Frontenacs as part of a swap that included multiple future CHL Import and OHL Priority Selection draft picks. June 27, 2026 - BUFFALO - Two Flint Firebirds were selected on Saturday afternoon at the 2026 NHL Draft, extending the organization's streak of having at least one player selected at every draft since the team's inception in 2015. Darian Anderson was drafted by the New York Rangers and Alex Kostov was taken by the Los Angeles Kings. Nathan Aspinall Named Third Team CHL All-Star

June 24, 2026 - FLINT - The Canadian Hockey League announced on Wednesday that Firebirds forward Nathan Aspinall has been named a CHL Third Team All-Star for the 2025-26 season. Aspinall registered 33 goals and 61 assists over 65 games played during the 2025-26 season. His 61 assists set a new Firebirds franchise record, and his 94 points were the second-most in the OHL. Firebirds Acquire Fifth Round Pick from Niagara in Exchange for Christian Colosimo

June 18, 2026 - FLINT - The Flint Firebirds announced on Thursday that they have acquired a fifth round OHL Priority Selection draft pick from the Nigara IceDogs in exchange for defenseman Christian Colosimo. Colosimo heads to St. Catharines after playing in a total of 22 games across two seasons for the Firebirds, during which he had one goal, one assist and 24 penalty minutes.
