Desert Dogs Announce Brett Hickey as Offensive Coordinator

July 18, 2025 - LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Desert Dogs announced today the addition of Brett Hickey as offensive coordinator ahead of the 2025 National Lacrosse League season. The new hire brings valuable experience, leadership, and a fresh approach as the organization looks to reset its culture and improve on a difficult 2024 campaign. A 12-year NLL veteran, Hickey joins the Desert Dogs after serving as assistant offensive coordinator and scout with the Ottawa Black Bears. Lacrosse to be Sanctioned as a High School Varsity Sport by the NIAA for the 2026 27 School Year

June 12, 2025 - LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Desert Dogs, in partnership with USA Lacrosse, proudly support Governor Joe Lombardo's directive to sanction lacrosse as a high school varsity sport in Nevada, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. This historic step marks a major milestone for youth lacrosse and the continued growth of the sport across the state. Las Vegas Fall in Final Game

April 19, 2025 - LAS VEGAS, NV - Looking to the finish the season strong, the Las Vegas Desert Dogs invited the Calgary Roughnecks into the Den for the last game of the 2024-25 season. Unfortunately, the playoff-hungry Roughnecks were too much to handle as the Desert Dogs lose this game 12-9. Calgary opened the scoring with a bounce shot into the net and kept the momentum going with two more goals shortly after. Desert Dogs host Surprise Night for their final game of the season

April 15, 2025 - LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Desert Dogs (4-13) will close out their 2024-25 season with a matchup against the Calgary Roughnecks (8-8) at Lee's Family Forum on Friday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. PST. The Roughnecks defeated the Desert Dogs earlier this season, 21-8, on February 16. The Pack struggled to stop extended scoring runs in that loss.
