August 5, 2025 - The Lancaster Stormers have traded with the Gastonia Ghost Peppers for outfielder Kevin Watson, Jr., it was announced today by manager Ross Peeples. The deal was for a player-to-be-named later.
Watson will be joining the Stormers on Tuesday for the start of a three-game series with the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars.
The 26-year old native of Oregon was batting .217 with 12 homers and 44 RBI for the Ghost Peppers in 2025 after putting together a .302 mark with 13 homers for the club in the previous season.

August 4, 2025 - (Central Islip, N.Y.) - The Long Island Ducks defeated the Staten Island FerryHawks 5-4 in waddle-off fashion on Monday evening at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in the makeup of the July 31st rainout between the teams. The victory was the milestone 1,000th regular season home win in franchise history.

August 3, 2025 - (Central Islip, N.Y.) - The Long Island Ducks defeated the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars 5-4 on Sunday evening in the final game of a three-game series at Fairfield Properties Ballpark.
Bryce Cannon's RBI fielder's choice gave the Flying Boxcars a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Seth Beer answered in the bottom of the first with an RBI single to right, tying the game at one. August 3, 2025 - Charleston, WV - Charleston erupted for 13 runs on 14 hits to rout the York Revolution in Sunday's rubber match, taking the series 2-1 at GoMart Ballpark.
Offensive Explosion:
James Nelson blasted his 26th HR and Second Grand Slam, plus drove in 4 RBI, pacing Charleston's offense.
Chad Sedio went 4-for-5 with a HR (14) and 3 RBI.
Keon Barnum added a 2-run HR (10), while Joe DeLuca reached 4 times (2 BB, 2-for-2).
Charleston scored 4 in the 2nd, 4 in the 3rd, and another 4 in the 7th, burying York early.
