June 16, 2025 - GASTONIA, N.C. - Patrick Mazeika's contract was purchased by Mexico City of the Mexican League on June 10, as announced by the Ghost Peppers on Sunday.
Mazeika becomes the second Ghost Pepper to have his contract picked up in 2025.
The catcher is hitting .218 with a .640 OPS this season, with two homers and 15 runs driven in.
Mazeika, 31, got his contract picked up by Mexico City while with Gastonia last season as well, being a member of the 2024 Mexican League champion Diablos Rojos.

June 15, 2025 - CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - The High Point Rockers used a combination of rookie guile and veteran composure to win their sixth straight game with a 10-6 win over the Long Island Ducks at Fairfield Property Ballpark.
The win leaves the Rockers at 33-12 on the season, the best 45-game start to a season in club history. In addition, the Rockers' six-game winning streak is their longest of the season. The Rockers have an eight-game lead over second place Southern Maryland in the Atlantic League's South Division.

June 14, 2025 - York, Pa.: Wes Scott worked a strong six innings and Brandon Lewis drove in five as the York Revolution won their fifth in-a-row, defeating the Gastonia Ghost Peppers 13-5 on Saturday night in front of 4,196 fans at WellSpan Park. The Revs match their longest winning streak of the season, and at 30-14, increase their first place North Division lead to seven games with 19 remaining in the season's first half.
