Stormers Strike Deal for OF

AtL Lancaster Stormers August 5, 2025 - The Lancaster Stormers have traded with the Gastonia Ghost Peppers for outfielder Kevin Watson, Jr., it was announced today by manager Ross Peeples. The deal was for a player-to-be-named later. Watson will be joining the Stormers on Tuesday for the start of a three-game series with the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars. The 26-year old native of Oregon was batting .217 with 12 homers and 44 RBI for the Ghost Peppers in 2025 after putting together a .302 mark with 13 homers for the club in the previous season. Offensive Explosion: James Nelson blasted his 26th HR and Second Grand Slam, plus drove in 4 RBI, pacing Charleston's offense. Chad Sedio went 4-for-5 with a HR (14) and 3 RBI.
