Wranglers fall to Storm 1-0 in shootout

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated by the Toledo Storm 1-0 in a shootout on Friday night in front of 5,103 fans at the Orleans Arena. Toledo's Ervins Mustukovs made 30 saves in regulation and stopped four of five shots in the shootout for the win. Wranglers' goalie Kevin Nastiuk made 27 saves and stopped three of five in the shootout for the loss. Toledo winger Nick Parillo's goal was the difference in the shootout. The Wranglers will host the Toledo Storm Saturday night at the Orleans Arena at 7:05 pm.

Las Vegas has now suffered back-to-back shutouts, the only time they have been held scoreless all year. The Wranglers goalless streak dates back to Tuesday, January 30th, when Aki Seitsonen scored at 16:24 of the second period against Fresno. Las Vegas has not scored a goal in its' last 148:36 of play.

Saturday, February 3rd, the Wranglers host Toledo for NASCAR night at 7:05 pm. Las Vegas will wear jerseys that resemble Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s #8 car. The Budweiser sponsored car will be in the concourse for fans to see throughout the game. Prior to the game, fans may attend the Port of Subs pre-game party from 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.
