(Las Vegas, NV) The Toledo Storm (23-17-1) extended its season high winning
streak to seven games as they defeated Las Vegas (22-9-11) 1-0 in a shootout
tonight. You can see a complete box score of tonight's game at Toledo vs.
Las Vegas Las Vegas out shot Toledo 11-8 in a scoreless first period of play. The two
went to the third period with nothing on the board, and both teams continued
to struggle in solving the goaltenders. Las Vegas out shot the Storm 28-23
in regulation time. The Storm held a 4-2 shot advantage in the overtime
session, and out scored Las Vegas 2-1 in the shootout. Chris Blight and Nick
Parillo collected shootout goals for the Storm. Ervins Mustukovs (W, 30
saves), the reigning ECHL goaltender of the Week collected his second
shutout in 3 starts with Toledo. Las Vegas goaltender Kevin Nastiuk (T, 27
saves) collected his first shutout of the year. The Storm will hit Las Vegas again Saturday night at 10:05pm. The Storm
return to the One Main Street ice on February 16th against the Columbia
