Chicago has posted wins in four straight matchups - one shy of matching a season-high - to move into a tie for second place in the West Division with 69 points (33-27-2-1); the Wolves are deadlocked with the Rockford IceHogs, and lead the fourth-place Houston Aeros by two points, with both teams holding two games in hand.

--- ONDREJ PAVELEC: Surrendered one or fewer goals in five straight outings ... Allowed just six goals in his last six starts ... Posted his third shutout of the season and the seventh of his pro career with a 27 save performance on Feb. 27 at Iowa ... Amassed a 15-12-1 record in 28 appearances this season ... Ranks fourth in the AHL with a 2.28 goals-against average and holds fifth in the league with a .923 save percentage ... Has held opponents to one or fewer goals 11 times this season and has surrendered two or fewer goals in 19 of his 28 contests

Registered eight points (3G, 5A) in 32 outings this season, five of which came in 17 matchups with the Houston Aeros, prior to being signed by Chicago on Jan. 31 ... Skated in 22 ECHL outings with Las Vegas this season, accruing 12 points (6G, 6A)

WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago ranks sixth in the AHL with an average of 2.67 goals-against per game this season, which includes holding opponents to two or fewer goals in eight of its last nine outings; the Wolves have posted a 27-5-2-0 record (.824) when allowing two or fewer tallies this season.

--- The Wolves will play their final three-games-in-three-days set this weekend; after this weekend, Chicago will play just one game away from the Allstate Arena during the month of March.

--- The Wolves have thwarted 31 of their opponents' last 32 man-advantage opportunities, which includes being perfect on the penalty kill in five of their last six games; Chicago ranks 20th in the league with an 81.6 percent efficiency rating on the penalty kill (266 of 326).
