WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4 - PHANTOMS VS. NORFOLK ADMIRALS - 7:05, WACHOVIA CENTER
The Phantoms host the Norfolk Admirals (Tampa Bay Lightning) at the Wachovia Center in a game that was rescheduled from its original date of April 12. Norfolk is 23-29-3-5 for 54 points, which slots the club seventh in the East Division. Brandon Bochenski leads the club in goals (23) and points (45), while captain Zenon Konopka is tops in assists (29) and PIM (167).
FRIDAY, MARCH 6 - PHANTOMS AT WORCESTER SHARKS - 7:05, DCU CENTER
Philadelphia makes its only trip of the season to Worcester to take on the Sharks (San Jose Sharks). The teams met at the Spectrum on January 14 in a game the Phantoms won 7-1 after not scoring in two consecutive contests the weekend before. The Sharks are embroiled in a fight for the final playoff spot in the Atlantic Division, sitting one point back of Manchester and Lowell with a record of 30-26-1-2 for 63 points. Ryan Vesce leads the Sharks in all scoring categories with 20 goals and 41 assists for 61 points.
SATURDAY, MARCH 7 - PHANTOMS AT BRIDGEPORT - 7:00, ARENA AT HARBOR YARD
The Phantoms close out their eight-game season series with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday at the Arena at Harbor Yard. Bridgeport has leapt into the second spot in the East Division after picking up two wins over Wilkes Barre-Scranton last weekend - a regulation victory at home on Saturday and an overtime triumph on Sunday in Wilkes-Barre. The Sound Tigers are 8-0-0-3 in their last 11, including a pair of 4-1 victories over the Phantoms. Bridgeport hasn't lost since a 2-1 setback to Philadelphia back on Feb. 8.
TRANSACTIONS
RW Claude Giroux and D Lasse Kukkonen were reassigned to the Phantoms on Saturday and remain with the club to start the week, while D Nate Guenin and C Jared Ross both remain with the Flyers. Last week, LWs Jonathon Kalinski and Josh Gratton were also returned to the Phantoms. D Ryan Parent and C Darroll Powe remain with the Flyers.

MATSUMOTO NOMINATED FOR REEBOK/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Phantoms nominated Jonathan Matsumoto for Player of the Week consideration this week. Matsumoto led the Phantoms with a goal and two assists in Philadelphia's light two-game week. He posted a goal, an assist and a shootout goal in Saturday's win over Providence.
MONTHLY NOMINATIONS
The Phantoms nominated Jonathan Matsumoto for AHL Player of the Month consideration. Matsumoto led the Phantoms in scoring with three goals and nine assists for 12 points in 11 games. Matsumoto scored at least a point in eight of Philadelphia's 11 games in February, including four two-point games. He is currently on a four-game scoring streak after posting a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over Providence.
The Phantoms nominated Patrick Maroon for AHL Rookie of the Month consideration. Maroon posted five goals and six assists for 11 points in 11 games this month, leading the club in goals scored. His five goals have come in the last four games, including a hat trick on Feb. 20 vs. Portland. He posted at least a point in seven of Philadelphia's 11 games this month.
The Phantoms nominated J.S. Aubin for AHL Goaltender of the Month consideration for February. After seeing only 23 minutes of action between November 23 and February 6, Aubin returned to the Phantoms lineup on that date and went on to win three of his four starts in February. He stopped 37 of 38 shots in a win at Binghamton on Feb. 14 and turned away 31 of 34 in regulation/overtime and six of eight in the shootout on Saturday night against Providence. On the month, Aubin had a 2.69 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.

NEWS AND NOTES
After going to the eighth shootout round against Providence on Saturday night, the Phantoms have now played 17 shootout rounds in their last two shootouts. They went nine rounds against Portland on Feb. 20... Philadelphia's power play is 4-for-19 (21 percent) in its last five games... A season-high 10,277 came out to Saturday night's game against Providence... When Nate Guenin played for the Flyers in Sunday's loss to New Jersey, he became the 14th player to play for both the Phantoms and Flyers this season... With his goal Saturday night, Patrick Maroon is now just three goals short of the Phantoms franchise record for goals by a first-year player. It was set last year by Kyle Greentree with 24 tallies.
