Stars re-assign Sawada to Moose; Moose re-assign Gendur to Victoria

The Dallas Stars announced today they have re-assigned forward Raymond Sawada to the Manitoba Moose. As a result, the Moose have re-assigned forward Dan Gendur to the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Sawada, 24, appeared in five games with the Dallas Stars since his first-ever recall on Feb. 19th. In his NHL debut, he scored his first NHL career goal on his 24th birthday versus the Edmonton Oilers. Sawada has appeared in 47 games so far this season with the Moose where he's scored 18 points (5-13-18) and collected 31 penalty minutes. In his brief season and a half in the AHL, the Richmond, BC native has played in 57 games with Manitoba and the now defunct Iowa Stars where he scored 27 points (7-20-27) and 51 penalty minutes.

Gendur, 21, has appeared in 10 games so far in his rookie professional season with the Moose. In that span, he has recorded one point (1-0-1) and two penalty minutes. He has also played in 43 games with the Salmon Kings where he has collected 33 points (9-24-33) and 79 penalty minutes.
