The Wolf Pack swept a three-game weekend this past weekend, grabbing a share of first place in the Atlantic Division. The Pack rode Al Montoya's 46 saves to a 2-1 win in Albany Friday night, then outlasted the Providence Bruins by a 4-3 score at home on Saturday. The club wrapped up the weekend with a 5-3 victory in Springfield Sunday, the first of their 11 games to be decided by more than one goal. Colby Genoway led a third-period comeback in that contest, scoring two goals including the power-play game-winner.

This week: It's another busy stretch of play, as the Wolf Pack face a run of four games in five days. Head Coach Kevin Dineen and his Portland Pirates invade the Hartford Civic Center on Wednesday night (7:00 faceoff), before the Pack hit the road for games in Binghamton (7:05) Friday evening and Lowell (7:35) Saturday. The weekend concludes with a home-ice tilt vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday (4:00 start).

Tuesday, November 8 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410 The Wolf Pack's weekly hourlong live radio show originates live from Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Scheduled to join host Bob Crawford this week are Joe Rullier and Nigel Dawes. They will be taking questions from the live audience at Little Mark's (all are invited), and the show can be heard on ESPN Radio 1410 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.

Friday, November 11 at Binghamton (Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena), 7:05 p.m. * The Senators, last year's East Division champions, are off to a 1-6-1-1 start this season. * This is the first meeting between the Pack and Senators since March 1, 2003. Saturday, November 12 at Lowell (Paul E. Sunday, November 13 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the Hartford Civic Center, 4:00 p.m. * The Penguins are leading the field in the AHL and have yet to lose in regulation (11-0-1-0 for 23 points). * Erik Christensen (9-10-19 in 9 GP) and Michel Ouellet (6-13-19 in 12 GP) are tied for fourth in the AHL in points. * Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, the first overall pick in the 2003 draft by the parent Pittsburgh Penguins, earned Koho AHL Goaltender of the Month honors for October with stats of 6-0-0, 1.17 and 95.5. * The Wolf Pack and the Connecticut State Police will be conducting a food drive at this game to benefit Foodshare of Greater Hartford. Cash donations, as well as non-perishable food items, will be collected at the door.
