Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs play three games at Copps Coliseum this week, including two against North Division opponents. The Bulldogs will face the Binghamton Senators for the first time this season on Wednesday, November 9 (7:30 p.m.). Hamilton will then battle the Cleveland Barons on Friday, November 11 (7:30 p.m.), before completing the week on Saturday, November 12, when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins (7:00 p.m.).

Ø RW Duncan Milroy recorded his 50th point as a Bulldog when he scored his first goal of the season on November 3 at Toronto (4-1 W). Milroy also produced his first multi-point game of the season last week, collecting 1g-1a on Nov. 5 vs. Toronto (6-5 SOL).

Ø D Andrew Archer collected his first point of the season, earning an assist on Nov. 5 vs. Toronto (6-5 SOL).

Ø D Jeff Paul recorded his first point of the season, earning an assist on Nov. 6 (3-1 L vs. Grand Rapids).

Ø This game marks the first of two meetings this season between Hamilton and Binghamton (1-6-1-1).

Ø The Senators are in sixth place in the East Division with four points in nine games.

Ø Steve Martins leads Binghamton in scoring with 11 points (4g, 7a).

Ø The Baby Sens were 2-0 last season vs. the 'Dogs.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11 - CLEVELAND BARONS @ HAMILTON BULLDOGS - 7:30 P.M. - COPPS COLISEUM

Ø This will be the second of six meetings this season between Hamilton and Cleveland (5-6-0-0).

Ø The Bulldogs are one point back of the Barons, who sit in a tie for fourth place in the North Division with the Toronto Marlies (5-6-0-0).

Ø In the first meeting of the season between these two clubs, the Barons edged the Bulldogs 2-1 on October 22.

Ø Patrick Rissmiller (5g, 5a) and Steve Bernier (4g, 6a) lead Cleveland in scoring this season. Bernier is currently playing with the San Jose Sharks.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12 - GRAND RAPIDS GRIFFINS @ HAMILTON BULLDOGS - 7:00 P.M. - COPPS COLISEUM

Ø The North Division leading Grand Rapids Griffins (9-2-0-1) make their third visit of the season to Copps Coliseum.

Ø The Bulldogs are 0-2-0-0 against the Griffins this season, dropping both games by a score of 3-1 (October 14, November 6).

Ø Griffins forward Jiri Hudler, the AHL's leading scorer (13g-12a-25pts), has three goals in two games against the Bulldogs.

Ø Grand Rapids goaltender Drew McIntyre has stopped 54 of 56 shots he has faced in two games against Hamilton.
