Norfolk Admirals News Release
General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Chicago Blackhawks have assigned center Martin St. Pierre to Norfolk in the AHL.
St. Pierre joined the Blackhawks last Friday night and played in his first NHL game at Dallas. He appeared in two games for the Blackhawks and did not score.
St. Pierre, 22, was originally signed to an American Hockey League contract by the Norfolk Admirals in September and had reported to their training camp. For Norfolk this season, St.Pierre appeared in 9 games and scored 4 goals while adding 8 assists for 12 points with 14 penalty minutes.
