Canucks recall Rob McVicar

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that the Canucks have recalled goaltender Rob McVicar from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

McVicar, 23, has played three games for Manitoba during the 2005-06 AHL season, posting two wins, a goals against average of 2.25 and 68 saves. The 2005-06 season marks McVicar's third year with the Moose. The Brandon-native was acquired by the Vancouver Canucks in the 6th round, 151st overall in the 2002 NHL entry draft.
