January 23, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins News Release
WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are inviting sport industry professionals, organizations and teams to participate in the teams first Sports Industry Career Fair. This event will take place on Wednesday, March 25th between the hours of 2pm-5pm at the Wachovia Arena, prior to the Penguins vs. Grand Rapids Griffins game at 7:05pm.
The Sports Industry Fair is a great way to find full time, part time or seasonal employees for the upcoming season. It's also a fantastic way to showcase your organization to students from local high schools, colleges and universities in Northeastern Pennsylvania looking to gain knowledge of the sports industry.
In addition, becoming a vendor is a great opportunity to provide marketing and ticketing information to prospective fans or future customers.
There is no cost to become a vendor, display information and distribute materials. In addition, all participating vendors will receive two complementary tickets to the Penguins vs. Griffins game that evening.
For more information, or to reserve your spot, call or e-mail Mike Chatburn at (570) 208-5415 or mchatburn@wbspenguins.com
