Lake Erie's Tyler Weiman Added to AHL All-Star Roster

Lake Erie Monsters goaltender Tyler Weiman has been added to the Canadian AHL All-Star Team, it was announced by the American Hockey League today.

In his second year with the Monsters, Weiman is currently 11-10-2 in 24 appearances, and is tied for first in the AHL with five shutouts on the season.

Weiman is fifth in the league with a 2.34 GAA and seventh with a .921 save percentage.

The Canadian All-Stars will face PlanetUSA in the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic, presented by Charter Communications, on Monday, January 26th, in Worcester, Massachusetts. The game will be televised live on FOX Sports Ohio at 7:00 p.m. ET. Satellite information is below for those looking for highlights.

Weiman will be joining his teammate, defenseman Kyle Cumiskey, on the Canadian AHL All-Star Team. Cumiskey was originally named to the team on January 6th.
