Monarchs Alumni Report - Tom Kostopoulos
The 2004-05 season was a special year for the Manchester Monarchs and the American Hockey League. The NHL lock-out turned the AHL into the premiere hockey league in the world and each night players who would've been starring in the NHL were on New Hampshire ice. At no point was this more evident than during the AHL All-Star game that was held in the Queen City on Valentine's Day and current NHL All-Stars Dustin Brown (Kings), Eric Stahl (Hurricanes) and Zach Parise (Devils) all skated that night. Montreal Canadiens right wing Tom Kostopoulos was one of those players and also was selected to the All-Star game that season.
