Moose sign Collins to PTO

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have signed forward Dusty Collins to a professional tryout contract.

Collins, 23, has already played in 16 games so far this season with the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL, where he has scored six points (4-2-6) and 15 penalty minutes. He scored his first AHL goal earlier this season when the Monarchs faced the Moose Dec. 16/08 at the MTS Centre. He has also appeared in 24 games this season with the Ontario Reign of the ECHL, scoring 14 points (6-8-14) and 34 penalty minutes. The Gilbert, AZ native has appeared in 29 career games in the AHL where he's scored six points (2-4-6) and 26 penalty minutes with Springfield, Rockford, and Manchester.
