West Valley City, Utah - In front of 6,088 fans, the Utah Grizzlies dropped their last home game of the season 5-1 to the Victoria Salmon Kings Saturday night at the E-Center.

Victoria scored first on the power-play, but with time winding down in the first, Utah countered as Danny Stewart scored off a give and go from Blake Robson to even the game at a goal a piece at the first intermission.

All stayed even through the second period until the Salmon Kings went on a run scoring three goals in two and a half minutes, one being on the power-play from 15:17-17:38. Rob McVicar came in to relieve Ben Gray in goal for Utah at that point. Victoria added one more in the third stanza to make the final score of 5-1.

Prior to the game, Utah Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Jason Christie, announced that the Grizzlies had signed defenseman Jeff State.

Utah will wrap up the regular season with a three-game series in Alaska against the top-ranked Aces next Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Face-off for all games is scheduled for 9:15 p.m.
