Cey Makes 35 Saves To Earn Johnstown's First Shutout Of The Season

Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Chiefs beat the Dayton Bombers by a score of 2-0 at the Cambria County War Memorial on Saturday night.

After two periods of stalemate hockey, Johnstown broke the scoring open when Rob Lehtinen found John Adams in the right wing circle, and Adams ripped a one-timer past Dayton's Terry Denike at 4:14. At the 8:34 mark of the third period, Rob Lehtinen scored his second goal of the season, picking up the rebound of a shot from Marek Kvapil to give the Chiefs a 2-0 lead. Morgan Cey made the lead stand up, making 18 saves for Johnstown in the third period.

The Chiefs were 1-for-6 on the man-advantage, and Cey made 35 saves to earn the win and his first shutout of the season.
