Toledo Falls To Trenton 6-3

(Toledo, OH) The Toledo Storm (35-30-3) was defeated 6-3 by the Trenton Titans (34-29-5) in front of 3,769 at the Sports Arena tonight.

For the third straight game Toledo has allowed 6 goals. The Titans Scott Bertoli tallied three times to pace the Titans, who finished with 4 power play goals on the night. Toledo collected a pair of goals from Bruce Mulherin. Mulherin scored his ninth goal of the season at 17:16 of the first period (Gerry Burke, Jeremy Hall). Trenton led 5-1 when Gerry Burke blasted home his 7th goal of the year (Matt Zultek, Jeff Attard) on the power play (17:32). Just 31 seconds later Mulherin tipped in a rebound for his second and 10th of the season to make the score 5-3 (Time Songin, Scooter Smith).

Ervins Mustukovs started and made 18 saves before being lifted 5:23 into the second for Logan Koopmans. Koopmans allowed 1 goal on 19 shots. Toledo has allowed 7 power play goals in the last 12 chances.
