Game three of a three-game series (Victoria leads 2-0)

LAST GAME: The Salmon Kings dug out of a hole in game two versus Utah to post their fifth consecutive win and clinch the seventh seed in the playoffs.

The Grizzlies grabbed a goal in their first powerplay of the game as Travis Rycroft sliced to the net for his ninth goal of the season.

They struck again to open up the second stanza when Matt Craig scooped up a rebound during a Utah powerplay. With 14 seconds remaining in the period, Victoria closed the gap as Wes Goldie fired a shot top corner during a Salmon Kings powerplay advantage.

The game tied at two apiece in the third period when Victoria's Matt Kelly tallied the only even strength goal of the game. But seconds later, Utah regained the lead with a penalty shot goal from Danny Stewart. The Salmon Kings responded with just over five minutes remaining in regulation as Milan Gajic snapped a resting puck into the mesh for a shorthanded goal.

Kiel McLeod earned his third point of the game in spotting the net vacant from a sprawling Ben Gray, and settled the game in overtime.
