
Wranglers sign O'Connor

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that the team has signed forward Sean O'Connor.
O'Connor joins the Wranglers after missing the entire season with an injury sustained in training camp with the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. The Victoria, BC native spent the 2005-06 season with Las Vegas, scoring 19 goals and assisting on 14 others for 33 points in 44 games. O'Connor was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft (Round 3, #82 Overall). The fifth-year pro has scored 55 goals and dished out 40 assists for 95 career points in 210 pro games. The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder will make his debut tonight.
In order to be eligible to play for the 2007 Kelly Cup Playoffs, O'Connor must play all five of the remaining games on the Wranglers schedule.
Tonight Las Vegas will host Alaska at 7:05 pm. Before the game, from 4:30 - 6:30 in the concourse of the Orleans Arena, fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party. Las Vegas will conclude a four-game home stand with Long Beach at 7:05 pm on Tuesday night at the Orleans Arena.
