Utah Grizzlies Radio To Carry ECHL All-Star Game

Bakersfield, California - The Utah Grizzlies, in conjunction with Citadel Broadcasting today announced that the RBK Hockey ECHL All-Star game will be carried live on Utah Grizzlies Radio 860 AM January 17 at 7:05 p.m. The game will be played in Boise, Idaho and pre-game coverage will begin at 6:45 p.m.

Representing the Grizzlies at the game will be rookie defenseman Andy Sertich and Equipment Manager Eddie Summers. Sertich tied an all-time Grizzlies record for points in a game with one goal and four assists Friday in Anchorage.

"The Utah Grizzlies and Citadel Broadcasting remain committed to offering the fans of Utah the most comprehensive hockey broadcast package possible on our 10,000-watt signal," said Grizzlies Senior Vice President/COO Michael Schetzel.

NHL Radio will produce the broadcast, which will feature a play-by-play announcer, a color commentator and a roving reporter who will be ice level interviewing participants and others involved with the All-Star Game as well as representatives from the American Hockey League and the National Hockey League.

Tonight on Utah Grizzlies Radio 860 AM, from 7 p.m.- 8 p.m., fans can tune in for "The Best of Utah Grizzlies Radio" which airs in place of "The Utah Grizzlies Live" when the team is on the road.

The Grizzlies return to action Wednesday in Bakersfield. Face-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. "Utah Grizzlies Hockey Night, Featuring the Jason Christie Show" will air at 7:30 p.m. on Utah Grizzlies Radio 860 AM and UtahGrizzlies.com.
