LAST GAME : Victoria returned to Fresno for a second game in three days versus the Pacific division top spot competitors, the Falcons. The Salmon Kings captain Kiel McLeod scored the first goal of the game, his 15th goal of the season, and Victoria held the lead after the first period.

Fresno evened the score at 1:43 into the second stanza as John Wroblewski scored his eighth goal of the season in a Falcons powerplay.

Halfway through the third period, the home team took their first lead of the game 2-1. Wroblewski notched his second goal of the game, beating Bridges five-hole from the right circle.

Victoria tried to tie the game late in the third with a 6-on-5 advantage, but Fresno sealed the victory with an open net goal from Tyler Kindle.

LAST GAME vs Las Vegas: It was game three of the series in Las Vegas, and Victoria had to stretch into a shootout in order to take four points away from Nevada. The Wranglers were first to light the lamp with a goal from Derek Edwardson at 8:37 into the first period. Las Vegas head out of the first intermission with the 1-0 lead, but it was the Salmon Kings who controlled the second period.

Kiel McLeod tallied a powerplay goal from the doorstep and Steve Lingren snipered a shot from the slot as Victoria took the edge.

However, with 22 seconds remaining in the second, Las Vegas tied the score 2-2 with a Shawn Limpright powerplay goal.

After a scoreless third period, the Salmon Kings and the Wranglers head into extra periods for the second consecutive game of the series. Bryan Bridges made five saves in the overtime to send the final game of the series to a shoot out. With the shootout tied at two goals apiece, Victoria native Ryan Wade wrapped up the series going top shelf on Mike McKenna for the winning shoot out score in the eighth round.
