Titans Enter Final Two Week Of The Season In Playoff Spot Battle

The Trenton Titans (34-20-10) extended their regulation unbeaten streak to seven games (5-0-2) by going 1-0-1 last week. The Titans remain in the fourth slot in the Northeast Division, one point ahead of fifth place Charlotte, and are still just one point out of third place (Greensboro) and two points out of second place (Roanoke). The Titans head into the final two weeks of the regular season with four games this week. On Tuesday night the Titans play in Dayton for the fourth and final regular season meeting. The Titans are 3-0 against the Bombers this season, and won 5-4 in a shootout on February 2nd in the last meeting in Dayton. On Friday night it's the tenth and final meeting with the Reading Royals. The Titans are 6-2-1 against Reading this season, and 14-3-2 lifetime. On Saturday and Sunday the Titans play a home and home series with the Wheeling Nailers starting in West Virginia on Saturday night. The Titans have won both previous meetings against the Nailers this season, including a 3-2 decision on March 8th.

"Player of the Week – Adam Edinger:"

Center Adam Edinger registered four points (2 goals, 2 assists) in two games last week. He had a goal and an assist in both games last week helping the Titans to a 1-0-1 record. Edinger leads the team with 31 goals and 67 points this season.

Bertoli Keeps On Rolling:

Left wing Scott Bertoli continued his solid play with three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in two games last week. He has at least one point in 25 of his last 26 games. Despite missing 25 games earlier this season due to injury, Bertoli still leads the team with 37 assists in just 39 games.

"That's Mr. Hurley To You!!!"

Right wing Mike Hurley was clutch once again last week scoring the equalizer at the 19:10 mark of the third period to force overtime in the Titans' 4-3 win over Richmond last Tuesday night. Hurley has 18 goals and 28 points in 24 games with the Titans this season, and currently has the teams' longest point streak of seven games. Streaking Titans:

Mike Hurley has a seven-game point streak and a total of eight points (5 goals, 3 assists).

Scott Bertoli has a six-game point streak and a total of 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists).
