
Charlotte's Zulianello Named ECHL Goalie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Charlotte's Colin Zulianello is the East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week for March 10-16.
The 24-year-old Zulianello was 3-0-1 as Charlotte went 4-0-1 to remain in the Northeast Division race.
Under contract to Phoenix of the National Hockey League, Zulianello has won his last three starts, including his second career shutout.
The 6-2 and 190-pound Zulianello made 28 saves in a 7-2 win against Reading on Sunday and had 24 saves in a 3-0 win at South Carolina on Saturday. He had 35 saves in a 5-2 win against Richmond on Friday, and had 24 saves in a 4-3 shootout loss against Wheeling on Wednesday.
In his second professional season, Zulianello is 3-1-1 with a 2.30 goals against average and a .925 save percentage in five games since being assigned to Charlotte on February 26. Zulianello began the season with Augusta and was 6-10-1 with a 3.50 goals against average and a .897 save percentage in 19 games. He made one appearance with Springfield of the American Hockey League, losing 5-4 at Binghamton.
