Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
FLORENCE, SC -- The Pee Dee Pride today announced that this Friday, March 21, when the Pride host the Peoria Rivermen at 7:30 p.m., will be a historic night at the Florence Civic Center. At some point during the night, the one-millionth fan will walk through the turnstiles of the civic center.
"The entire Pride organization is grateful for the unbelievable support we have received from the Pee Dee area during our six years here," Pride Senior Vice President Jack Capuano said. "To reach the one-million fan landmark is a tremendous feat. To commemorate this historic night, the Pride will be making a tremendous ticket offer available to all fans in an effort to âPack the House.'"
Any fan that buys a ticket to the game will be able to get one free. This offer applies to every seat in the civic center, regardless of level. Pride season-ticket holders will also be able to take advantage of this great offer. All season-ticket holders will receive one voucher per account that they can redeem at the Florence Civic Center Box Office for a free ticket for Friday's game.
In addition to the ticket offer, one lucky fan will be chosen at random to win a one-millionth-fan prize pack from the Pride. The prize pack includes:
· Pride jersey with "1,000,000th Fan" on the back
· Chance to win a $20,000 car from Raceway Automotive Group
· Team autographed stick
· Skybox for a night â including 20 free tickets
· Ride on the Zamboni
· Behind-the-scenes tour
· Dinner for two at Redbone Alley
· Pride prize pack of merchandise
· Case of Pepsi
The following night, Saturday, March 22, the Pride host the Columbia Inferno with a special start time of 7:00 p.m. Following the game, the contemporary Christian group FFH will perform a concert live on the ice.
