The Hogs will wrap up a six-game season set with Lake Erie tonight, and have won four of the first five meetings, with all the contests being decided in regulation. Rockford won the last matchup 3-2 on March 3, 2010 at the Big Orange Box by overcoming a 2-1 deficit after one period. Left Wing Bryan Bickell potted the game-winning goal 11:27 into the third.
If the Hogs lose in overtime or the shootout tonight, they can still clinch with a Peoria Rivermen loss to the Admirals in Milwaukee. If Rockford falls in regulation, they'll need the Rivermen to lose in regulation and the San Antonio Rampage to lose in Texas to get in.
Next Home Game: Saturday, April 3 vs. Milwaukee Admirals. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. The first 2,500 fans to the game will pick an IceHogs Beach Towel from BOB FM and 23-WIFR.
