April 2, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Syracuse Crunch News Release
Syracuse, NY (April 2, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of Interstate Batteries Faith and Family Night, set for Friday, April 9 vs. Hamilton.
Any fan that brings their church bulletin to the box office will receive a $12 ticket to the Crunch's Friday, April 9 game vs. Hamilton. In addition, all fans are welcome to attend live performances from comedian Derrick Tennant and local Christian rock band 'Jawbone' following the game.
Tennant is someone that has made it his mission to be a clean comic that can perform the same routine at a Sunday church function that he did at a comedy club on Saturday night. His unique, often inspirational, form of comedy will leave audience members with both laugh lines and a good perspective on life.
Jawbone is a Christian rock band that fuses together many genres of music including contemporary rock, classic and southern rock and blues. They take contemporary Christian worship songs and essentially kick them into a higher gear and provide a combination of part congregational worship and part performance.
The Crunch travel to Adirondack on Friday, April 2 and Hershey on Saturday, April 3 before returning home to battle Hershey again on Tuesday, April 6 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
