
Three GreenJackets named to All-Star game

Augusta, Ga. - South Atlantic League President John Moss has announced three GreenJackets have made the Southern Division All-Star team. Shortstop Marcus Sanders, right fielder Brian Horwitz and pitcher Jonathan Sanchez will represent the GreenJackets in the 46th SAL All-Star game at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
Marcus Sanders is batting .298 this season with 67 hits. He leads all Minor League players in stolen bases with 34. He has only been caught three times. Brian Horwitz is hitting a team leading .342 this season with 63 hits. Jonathan Sanchez, despite his ERA, has had a good season. He's struck out 53 batters in 47 2/3 innings.
