Syracuse Crunch Sign Goaltender Jimmy Poreda to PTO

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have signed goaltender Jimmy Poreda to a professional tryout contract, general manager Stacy Roest announced today.

Poreda, 25, has appeared in three games with the Worcester Railers of the ECHL this season recording a 1-2-0 record along with a 3.38 goals-against average and .899 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 204-pound netminder has also played in 12 games with the Knoxville Ice Bears posting a 9-2-1 record with a 1.75 goals-against average and .939 save percentage.

Prior to his professional career, the Tonawanda, New York native spent three seasons at SUNY Plattsburgh from 2017 to 2020.
