
Super Bowl Jersey Auction Raises $21,450 for Petroleum Shrine Club

Monday, January 29th: Condors players Alex Rogosheske and Scott Borders visited the Center for Neuro Skills Clinic at 12:30 p.m. to visit with patients and sign autographs.
Monday, January 29th: Condors player Tyler Scott and Community Relations Manager Jill Watts took a road trip to McFarland to hang with students at Pond School at 1 p.m. and talk about working hard in the classroom and on the ice. Students who excelled in the T.H.I.N.K. program, which focuses on academics and behavior, will celebrate their achievements by attending a Condors game on Jan. 31st.
Tuesday, January 30th: Turn your TV to KERO Channel 23 at 6:10 a.m. to see Condors goalie Jamie Hodson speaking live about this week's games and the second half of the season.
Tuesday, January 30th: Condors player Todd Griffith and Community Relations Manager Jill Watts will visit students at Bakersfield Carden School, at 1 p.m., to chat about how hockey relates to education and to show off hockey gear. All students in attendance will receive an educational hockey packet with information about math, science, geography and health and fitness, and will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Wednesday, January 31st: The Condors battle the Las Vegas Wranglers and present High School/College I.D. Night. All high school and college students with a valid I.D. will receive $1.00 admission. This game also marks another T.H.I.N.K. Night, brought to you by Mercy and Memorial Hospital and ARRC Technology, where all students enrolled at Actis Jr. High and Pond School will receive free admission if they reach their academic and behavioral goals.
Thursday, February 1st: Community Relations Manager Jill Watts will attend Beardsley Elementary for Career Day, at 8 a.m., to help motivate students about working hard and planning for their future.
Thursday, February 1st: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will visit St. Francis School to help promote their open house at 5:45 p.m. St. Francis school is located at 2516 Palm St. and parents will be able to register their students for school in the fall.
Friday, February 2nd: The Condors will attend Virginia Elementary Celebrity Reader Day to read to students and to help promote the importance of working hard at 8:30 a.m.

Saturday, January 27th: The Super Bowl Jersey Raffle and Auction, courtesy of FOX 58 and Bud Light, honoring Bakersfield's pigskin tradition and the Super Bowl XVI, raised $21,450 benefiting the Petroleum Shrine Club. Condors player Brett Lutes' jersey had the highest bid at $1,550, followed by Tyler Liebel's jersey at $1,500. The Condors would like to say thank you to all of our supporters of the Super Bowl Jersey Auction and the Petroleum Shrine Club.

Monday, February 5th: Condors players Alex Rogosheske, Tyler Liebel and Kevin Truelson will read to students at Valley Elementary School, at 1 p.m., to help promote the importance of reading in education and life. Players will also present hockey gear and answer student's questions.
Thursday, February 8th: Condors player Brett Lutes will visit Sylvan Learning Center at 4 p.m. to read to kids and sign autographs.

Baby Cal and Colonel Claw'd are looking for kids to join the coolest club in Condorstown for only $20.
