BOMBERS NOTES

*All Star MVP Sets Club Record! With his 1-0 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones Saturday (29 saves), Bombers goaltender Adam Berkhoel earned his fourth shutout of the season. He is now tied for the league lead with four shutouts and has set a new club record for most in a single season by a Bombers goaltender.

*Moving On Up! With their two victories this weekend over Cincinnati and Johnstown, the Bombers moved up from fifth to third place in the North Division. They continue to have the best winning percentage in the division (.611) and still have games in hand over all the other teams in the North.

*Road Warriors! With their 3-1 road victory over the Johnstown Chiefs on Sunday afternoon, the Bombers improved their road record to 11-7-2 on the season. The 11 victories is tops in the North Division and tied for third most in the ECHL overall. The Bombers only have 16 remaining games on the road and 20 games at the Nutter Center.

*Defense, Defense, Defense! The Bombers continue to shut down their opponents and limit offensive opportunities. They are currently fourth in the ECHL with a team goals against average of 2.58 and first in the ECHL in least shots against, only giving up 25.81 per game. They have shutout their opponents four times and have out shot their opponents in all but five games this season.

* Bombs Away! The Bombers have out shot their opponents 1,233-929 on the season and have taken 35 shots or more on goal 14 times and 40 or more shots on goal seven times. They are 16-9-3 when out shooting their opponents.

* Entertaining Week For Bombers Fans! Tuesday's game against the Augusta Lynx will be the second 2 for Tuesday's sponsored by Prestige Ford. All fans can purchase 2 for 1 Silver Level seats at the Nutter Center box office and the concession stands will offer 2 for 1 pretzels, hot dogs and popcorn. Saturday's game against the Trenton Titans will feature the second Columbus Blue Jackets night. Stinger the Blue Jackets mascot and the Pepsi Promo Team will be in attendance that night. Also, following the game the Bombers will host a post game jersey auction for their Blue sweaters.

IMPORTANT WEEK AHEAD! Dayton returns to the ice tomorrow night, as they host the Augusta Lynx at 7:00 p.m. Then on Friday night, the Bombers welcome back their division rivals the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 p.m. Friday's game will be available locally on radio on AM 980 WONE the Sports Animal. Then on Saturday the Trenton Titans come to town for the second time this season at 7:00 p.m.
