LAST WEEK: Fresno went 0-2-2 last week, dropping its overall record to 23-14-4 for 50 points. The Falcons are in third place of the Pacific Division, but are just three points behind first-place Bakersfield.

Tuesday, January 23 vs. Long Beach Ice Dogs 3 FALCONS 2 (SO) Despite outshooting Long Beach 50-26, Fresno fell 3-2 in a shootout. The Falcons led 2-1 through two periods on goals from Rob McFeeters and John Wroblewski, but the Ice Dogs pulled even 2:37 into the final period. In the shootout, Long Beach scored on each of its first three shots, and Ice Dogs' goaltender Brett Jaeger turned aside all three Fresno shooters to record the win.

Wednesday, January 24 @ Bakersfield Condors 2 FALCONS 1 (SO)

For the second straight night, the Falcons picked up a point with a shootout loss. Cory Murphy staked Fresno to an early lead, notching a power-play goal 5:53 into the contest. Bakersfield pulled even with a power-play goal of its own 12:36 into the second period. In the shootout, Bakersfield's Rane Carnegie scored on the Condors' first shot, and that goal stood up, as all five Falcons' shooters were stopped by Danny Taylor. Scott Stirling stopped 42 Bakersfield shots, and four of five attempts in the shootout.

Friday, January 26 vs. Phoenix RoadRunners 3 FALCONS 0

Phoenix goaltender Mike Morrison turned aside all 23 Fresno shots to lead the RoadRunners to a 3-0 win on Friday at Save Mart Center. Brock Hooton tallied 3:29 into the first period, and the RoadRunners added a pair of tallies in the second period to set the final.

Sunday, January 28 @ Las Vegas Wranglers 3 FALCONS 0

Fresno concluded its week with a 3-0 loss to Las Vegas at Orleans Arena. Jason Jozsa broke a scoreless tie late in the second period, and the Wranglers added two more goals in the third period to go on to the win.

Tuesday, January 30 @ Las Vegas 7:05 p.m.

The Falcons and Wranglers conclude their two-game series at Orleans Arena. Fresno is 3-2-0 overall against Las Vegas this season, and 1-1-0 at Orleans Arena. The Wranglers are in second place of the Pacific Division, two points ahead of the Falcons.

Saturday, February 3 vs. Stockton 7:30 p.m.

The Falcons meet the Thunder for the sixth of eight times this season, and for the final time at Save Mart Center. Fresno is 5-0-0 against Stockton this season, and is 14-0-1 all-time against the Thunder.

PROMOTIONS: Pink at the Rink, presented by the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, KSEE 24, ClearChannel Radio, and the Fresno Bee. The Falcons will wear special pink jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game, with all proceeds benefiting the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation in its work to prevent breast cancer and domestic violence. The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a free pink puck courtesy of the Fur Emporium. The Falcons also look to break the team's single-game attendance record of 12,462 set in the team's first game at Save Mart Center on November 16, 2003.
