This week found the Stingrays in Beaumont, Texas as they visited the Wildcatters for three games in three days. They ended the weekend earning four of the possible six points going 2-1-0.
On Thursday, the Stingrays were off to a fast start scoring three unanswered goals in the first period. Nate Kiser scored his third of the season and second in as many games. Goalie Davis Parley flew down from Hershey in time for the game and finished the night stopping 47 of 49 shots as six different Stingrays contributed to the 6-2 victory. Peter Szabo had a season-high three assists in the night and Stephen Werner was credited with the game-winning goal, his second of the year.
