Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the organization has acquired defensemen Tyler Kindle and Lee Green from the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL in return for forward Arpad Mihlay ("AR pahd mih HAW lee").

Kindle, a fourth year pro from Portage, Michigan, scored ten goals and assisted on thirteen others in thirty-nine games with the Fresno Falcons this season. He was traded from Fresno to Las Vegas yesterday in return for left wing Lucas Lawson. Over the course of his pro career, Kindle (6'00"/180 lbs.) (28), has racked up thirty-eight goals and added eighty-six assists (124 points) in 234 ECHL games. Kindle, who as a member of the Idaho Steelheads scored the game winning goal against the Wranglers in Game One of the West Division Semi-Finals last season to end the longest scoreless game in ECHL history, had a stellar four year collegiate career at Wayne State University where he graduated as the school's all-time leader amongst defensemen in goals (29), assists (69) and points (98) in 140 games.

Green, a second year pro from Soldotna, Alaska, scored a goal and picked up six assists and 57 penalty minutes in 37 games with the Wranglers this year. Last season in Las Vegas, Green (6'1"/210 lbs.) scored three goals and had eleven points and ninety-eight penalty minutes in 52 regular season games. Green was twice selected as his team's Most Inspirational Player during his collegiate career at the University of Alaska-Anchorage.

Mihaly scored sixteen goals and assisted on twelve others in twenty-five games for the Royals this season. Most recently, Mihaly has been on loan to the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL, where he scored a goal and picked up an assist in twelve games. His stint in Milwaukee marked the third trip of the season to the AHL for Mihaly, as he was also loaned to the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins and the Binghamton Senators earlier this year.

The Royals are back in action on Wednesday night when the team travels to U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati to take on the Cyclones. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
