The Week Ahead:

Wednesday, November 26, Vs Florida – 7:05 @ North Charleston Coliseum

Radio: CNN Radio 1450 & Stingrayshockey.com. Air Time: 6:35

This is the first game of the season between these two teams. The Everblades are off to a hot start and sit in first place in the Southern Division with a record of 10-3-3. Florida is 4-3-1 on the road, while the Rays have a record of 4-4 at home. Brian McCullough and Keith Anderson sit at the top of the ECHL scoring race with 27 and 25 points respectively.

At the Coliseum: Make a noise food drive. Bring a food donation that makes noise for the Low Country Food Bank.

Friday, November 28, @ Charlotte – 7:30 @ Cricket Arena

Radio: ESPN Radio 1340 & Stingrayshockey.com. Air Time: 7:00

This is the second game of the season between these two teams. The Checkers beat the Rays in North Charleston on November 8 by the score of 3-2. The Checkers have a record of 4-6-3 and sit in seventh place in the Southern Division. Lucas Lawson leads Charlotte with ten points in ten games.

Saturday, November 29, Vs Roanoke- 7:30 @ North Charleston Coliseum

This is the second meeting of the season between these two teams, the Rays lost to the Express on November 16, 3-1. The Express sits in fourth place in the Southern Division with a record of 9-6-0.

At the Coliseum: First of a two game home stand for the Stingrays. First 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free pass to the IMAX Theater.

The Week That Was:

Thursday, November 20, Stingrays 5 @ Gladiators 4

Matt Desrosiers scored the game winner on the power play just 29 seconds into the overtime. The Stingrays snapped a two game road losing skid with the win, rallying from a 4-2 deficit in the victory. David Brumby earned his second win of the season and his first victory on the road in the win.

Sunday, November 23, Stingrays 2 @ Generals 3 OT

The Stingrays led twice in the game but the Generals came back to win the game in overtime on Mark Turner's goal with four seconds left. The Rays scored their fourth power play goal in four games in the OT loss which was their first post regulation loss of the season.

The Team:

The Rays sit in fifth place in the Southern Division with a record of 7-7-1. The Stingrays finished the week with a record of 1-0-1 with both games taking place on the road. South Carolina is now 4-4 at home and 3-3-1 on the road. South Carolina is five points out of fourth place. The team has scored at least one power play goal in each of its last four games. The Rays have a record of 7-4-4 within the Southern Division. The team has the 27th ranked power play in the league at 12.9%. At home the Stingrays average 10.3% on the power play which ranks 29th in the league. South Carolina averages 2.67 goals per game which ranks 20th in the league, defensively the Rays are 13th in the league averaging 2.87 goals against per game.

Ed Courtenay has picked up at least a point in each of his last five games. He and Dave Seitz lead the team with 12 points each on three goals and nine assists. Marty Clapton leads the team in goals with five on the season. Matt Desrosiers leads the Stingrays in power play goals with three and game winning goals with two.
