
Everblades Remain in First, Unbeaten at Home

The Florida Everblades claimed four points for the second consecutive weekend and remain in first place in their division after defeating the Florence Pride 5-3 and 3-1 at TECO Arena this past weekend. Florida forwards Brian McCullough, Keith Anderson and Brent McDonald are currently ranked in the top five in scoring in the ECHL. McCullough ranks first in the ECHL in points with 27 and goals with 12. Anderson is tied with McCullough in the ECHL goal scoring ranks with 12 goals. In related news, defenseman Jared Newman was recalled to Lowell (AHL) today and defenseman Peter Reynolds will be reassigned to Florida. The Blades take on the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05 PM this Wednesday night in Charleston, SC to begin a four game road trip for Florida. Everblades regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. The games can be also be heard inside TECO arena on 96.5 FM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. GAME NOTES: This will be the fourth meeting between the two clubs this season. The Everblades are 3-0-0 versus the Pride this season and 19-18-3 all-time versus the Pride. Florence ranks in 6th place in the Southern Division.

The Florida Everblades opened a two game series with a thrilling 5-3 victory against the Florence Pride in front of 5,284 at TECO Arena. After squandering a 3-0 lead Florida forward Brian McCullough picked up a rebound off a Brent McDonald shot and fired it into the top of the net to break a 3-3 tie with under three minutes remaining.
Saturday, November 22 vs. Florence 3-1 W
The Florida Everblades (10-3-3) completed the sweep of a two game series by defeating the Florence Pride (5-7-2), 3-1 in front of 6,375 at TECO arena.
