Last Weeks Highlights: 11/19/03 > Long Beach 2 vs. Bakersfield 5

The Ice Dogs were going for their third win in a row but came up short, falling to the Condors 5-2. Long Beach got on the board first, with J.J. Hartmann's first goal of the season in the first period. But Bakersfield scored three straight goals by Francon, Astrom and Ralph to take a 3-1 lead. John McNabb brought the Ice Dogs to within one with six and a half minutes to play, but another goal by Bakersfield and an empty netter sealed the Condors' win.

11/21/03 > Long Beach 1 vs. Fresno 2

The Ice Dogs again came up short, falling to the Fresno Falcons in their first ever visit to the new Save Mart Center. Jason Weaver scored both goals for the Falcons who held a 2-0 lead until Mike Ouellet cut the deficit in half with less than two minutes to play in the game. But Falcons goalie, Nolan Schaefer, stood strong in net stopping 35 Long Beach shots.
