Friday November 21st, the Augusta Lynx held the Wildcatters scoreless at home. Jason Cugnet stopped 24 of 27 shots in the 3-0 loss. Augusta net-minder Jason Saal picked up his second shutout in three games by stopping all 31 shots he faced.

On Saturday, Texas hosted the Pensacola Ice Pilots in their fourth meeting of the season. Jason Cugnet earned his first win of the season stopping 35 of 36 shots in a 4-1 victory. Tony Lawrence opened up the scoring for the Wildcatters on a power play assisted by Steve Lowe and Shaun Fisher. Ashlee Langdone netted what would be the game-winner late in the first with assists from Jeremy Chadsey and Fisher. Cory Morgan scored his fourth goal of the year in the second from Bobby Cunningham and John Snowden. Tyler Kindle netted the Ice Pilots' lone goal of the game early in the second period. Aaron Smith closed out the scoring at the 5:46 mark of the second. Langdone and Chadsey assisted on Smith's first professional goal.

The Texas Wildcatters hit the road to conclude this weekend's action in Mississippi to face the Sea Wolves. The Sea Wolves got off to a quick start with a power play goal, Brent Gauvreau netted his seventh of the season from Jeff Hutchins and Travis Lisabeth. Louis Dumont closed out the opening period scoring with another Mississippi power play goal, his ninth of the season from Serge Kuznetsov and Roger Maxwell.

The Sea Wolves would add two more in the second with Kuznetsov picking up his fourth and fifth goals of the season. His first goal came at the 6:27 mark from Jim Baxter and Kerry Ellis-Toddington. Kuznetsov would tally the final goal of the game with 19 seconds left in the second from Steve O'Rourke and John Evangelista.

The netminders combined for 19 saves in the third. Greg Gardner picked up his first shutout of the season with 32 saves. Davis Parley, who left the game with a muscle strain at the 18:10 mark of the second, suffered his third loss of the season. Jason Cugnet had 13 saves on 14 shots in relief.

The Wildcatters open up a three-game home-stand on Wednesday November 26th when they take on the Louisiana IceGators at 7:05 p.m. Then on Friday and Saturday, they will host Columbus Cottonmouths at 7:05 p.m. both nights. Texas will hit the road to conclude the holiday weekend against the IceGators in Lafayette on Sunday at 4:05 p.m.

Player of the Week Nomination: Ashlee Langdone scored the game winning goal to go along with an assist and a fight for the Gordie Howe Hat Trick in a 4-1 win vs. Pensacola 11/22/03.

Goalie of the Week Nomination: Jason Cugnet picked up his first win with the Wildcatters with 35 saves against Pensacola 11/22/03. He had a 1-1 record over the weekend turning away 72 of 77 shots he faced.

Streaks Snapped: Three Wildcatters carried their point scoring streaks into Friday's game against the Augusta Lynx, but all three saw their streaks come to a halt. Bobby Cunningham's ten-game point streak, Tim Branham's four-game point streak, and John Snowden's three-game goal streak all came to an end in the 3-0 loss to Augusta. Cunningham's streak of ten games consisted of 19 points, while Branham tallied six points throughout his streak.

Division Collision: 12 games remain of the 17 straight Central Division match-ups. The Wildcatters are currently 3-6-0 in division play. Texas will not play outside of their division until December 21st when they take on the Greenville Grrrowl at Ford Arena. This stretch gives the Wildcatters an opportunity to move-up in the Central Division standings.
