Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV-The Las Vegas Wranglers wrapped up their six-game East Coast road trip with an 0-4-2 record. Tuesday night the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies handed the Wranglers a 3-0 shut out. Roanoke followed up with a 4-2 win over the Wranglers this past Wednesday. Las Vegas followed up with a shootout loss in Reading on Friday. The Royals completed a weekend sweep with a 6-2 win over the Wranglers on Saturday night. This week the Wranglers return home to host the Alaska Aces on Friday night at the Orleans Arena. Saturday night Las Vegas will host the San Diego Gulls. Season Record= 9-5-4 Last Week= 0-3-1

Atlantic City, NJ â The Las Vegas Wranglers continued to struggle on the east coast falling to the defending Champion Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 3-0 at Boardwalk Hall on Tuesday night. Bullies goalie Scott Stirling made 27 saves for his eighth win of the season, shutting out the Wranglers for the first time this season. Atlantic City's Jim Henkel scored twice in the Bullies win. Las Vegas' Marc Magliarditi played his 12th consecutive game for the Wranglers stopping 23 Bullies shots; losing for the second straight game.
Wednesday, November 19th
Las Vegas 2 at Roanoke 4
Roanoke, VA â The Las Vegas Wranglers lost to the Roanoke Express 4-2 Wednesday night at the Roanoke Civic Center. The loss extends the Wranglers winless streak to four games at 0-3-1. Express goaltender Jason Wolfe stopped 48 of a Wranglers' season-high 50 shots for the win. Rick Kowalsky had a goal and an assist and Dan Carlson added two assists for the Express' ninth win of the season. Jason McBain assisted on both of Dave Cousineau's power-play goals for Las Vegas. Rookie goaltender Brent Krahn took the loss in net for the Wranglers stopping 30 of 33 Roanoke shots.
Friday, November 21st
Las Vegas 2 at Reading 3 SO
Reading, PA â The Las Vegas Wranglers fell in a shootout to the Reading Royals 3-2 on Friday. Goaltender Brent Krahn took the loss despite stopping 45 Royals' shots. The shootout loss extends the Wranglers' season-high winless skid to five games at 0-3-2. Readings' Matt Snersud scored the sudden-death shootout game-winning goal as Reading scored on two of their six shooters in the extra shootout, while the Wranglers notched one shootout goal. Las Vegas' Eric Schneider and Justin Kelly each scored in regulation for the Wranglers with Nick Lent and Leon Hayward picking up goals for Reading. Royal's goaltender Cody Rudcowsky picked up the win stopping 21 of 23 Las Vegas shots.
Tuesday, November 22nd

Reading, PA â The Las Vegas Wranglers suffered their worst loss of the season 6-2 to the Reading Royals on Saturday night. Reading's Brad Church and Judd Medak each scored twice as the Wranglers gave up a season-high six goals on the evening. Mathieu Chouinard picked up the win stopping 27 Wranglers' shots. Rookie Brent Krahn stopped 29 Royals' shots in the loss. Las Vegas' Doug Wright and Justin Kelly each scored for the Wranglers. Las Vegas is 0-4-3 against Eastern Conference teams this season, including an (0-4-2) record on their six-game East Coast road trip.
