Toledo Acquires Kingston

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they have acquired Dustin Kingston from the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL for cash.

Kingston appeared in 141 games over his four years with Wayne State University, netting 65 goals and adding 57 assists. Dustin participated in every game for Wayne State in the last 2 seasons and left WSU as the all-time leading goal scorer with 65. In 2002 - 2003 Kingston was named Male Student Athlete of the Year for Wayne State University. Dustin was named to the College Hockey America (CHA) all-academic team for 3 straight seasons and was selected as team MVP for 2002-2003.

In limited action with Charlotte this season, Dustin picked up 1 assist in 11 games.
