SALT LAKE CITY, UT- The Idaho Steelheads (13-8-2) scored three unanswered goals after falling behind 2-0 in the first period to pick up their second straight win over the Utah Grizzlies (8-11-2).

The first period saw the Grizzlies jump out to a 2-0 lead. Newly acquired Tim Maxwell scored his first professional goal at 4:06 of the period, assisted by Evan Kotsopoulos and Mark Pavli. Then, at 13:07, James Sixsmith scored his seventh, assisted by Evan Stoflet and Vladimir Nikiforov. Garett Bembridge, though, cut the lead in half when he put the Steelheads on the board at 14:40. Marty Flichel and Kory Scoran picked up the assists.

The Steelheads headed to the second down by a goal, 2-1. Flichel evened the score with an unassisted shorthanded goal, capitalizing on a turnover. That's how the score would stand as the two teams headed to the final frame of regulation.

The game remained tied 2-2 until Brian McGregor followed his own shot and picked up a loose puck behind Utah goalie Michael Mole, depositing it into the net with 1:38 to go. Kris Sparre picked up an assist on the goal, which was the game-winner.

Rejean Beauchemin stopped 23 of 25 Utah shots and improved to 7-3-2 with the win. Michael Mole stopped 27 of 30 shots, and fell to 6-11-2 with the loss.
