May 14, 2019 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Nashville Sounds News Release
NASHVILLE - On Thursday, May 16, the Nashville Sounds' Front Office staff will be participating in Minor League Baseball's new field refurbishment initiative, MiLB Project: Refresh powered by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment. Through the initiative, the Sounds will renovate a field at Seven Oaks Park by installing base plugs, bases, home plate, and a pitching mound, in addition to painting a "Tennessee is Home" mural on the concession stand.
The Nashville Sounds Foundation and grounds crew will lead the project. In 2018, the Nashville Sounds Foundation raised over $71,000 to positively impact non-profit organizations across Middle Tennessee.
Minor League Baseball Charities is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to giving back to and enhancing the communities our teams call home. In conjunction with ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment, Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™) and its teams are working to enhance local baseball and softball communities in MiLB cities across the country. Through MiLB Project: Refresh, the Sounds and RBI Nashville-12U will join in efforts to refurbish Seven Oaks Park and give back to thousands of Nashville area youth baseball and softball players
